In 1996 the cheerleaders received the Stunt Smart Award twice, the spirit stick, and the most improved squad trophy at camp. They also received 7 superior ribbons and 1 excellent ribbon on evaluations.

The cheerleaders of 1996 were Michelle Langford, Cara Coley, Laura Howe, Delina Ballard, Crystal Henderson, Mandy Sears, Mandee Wortham, Mindee Wortham, and Toni Walton as mascott.
